Blood...
The omission was not an accident, but an imposition. I am imposing that we look at the nutrient transport system known as the circulatory system and what it carries, blood, as another thing altogether. Not only is it the heart, arguably the most important organ in the body, necessary to pressurize the arteries and veins to distribute oxygen to the brain and every other organ for its necessary functions, but it is blood outside the body that reinforces sacrifice.
It is the explanation for hard work, along with tears and sweat, other fluids from the body. It is the demonstration for endurance as one who bleeds for their purpose. It is the love of someone, or our heart. Blood is also life-giving as blood donation shows compassion. Blood is as grotesque as the Halloween and slasher movies display, or as simple as a pin prick on a child's finger. It is the blood that we look to for a sign of wrong, but for everyone is the demonstration for what is right.
It is the blood of Christ that redeems all of mankind. It is the payment for our sins. It is the unequivocal replacement, Jesus's blood for our sins, that demonstrates love. There is no love like that from The Father, and it is a love that transcends all of time and space. It is the demonstration of sacrifice where one does what must be done for their love of another that reminds us of what true compassion and love is. It is the rich reds, stained on the brown wood, the metal nails into dirty flesh. It is the brown of dried blood from earlier lashings stained with dried sweat. It is a man, sent to die, in replacement for our sins, least we forget.
Blood and life have been God's way of making man operate, yet could also be a prophecy of what was to come and how this all ends. From Genesis to Revelations two books of the Bible, years apart, only God knows how long, that we hear about this blood and what it does for us. It is the blood that God made man, and it was the blood that cleansed man's wrong. It was the blood of animal sacrifices, and then the blood of the replacement. It will be the blood of many that will be shed for believing in their own gods, blood "even unto horses bridals." Revelations Chapter 14, verse 20. Prophecy fills the Old Testament, and it is the old testament's proclamation that makes Jesus who he was and displayed significance of those at the time.
Jesus wasn't just a man, or a prophet, but a Son, who The Father sent to tend to the flock. We the blind sheep needed direction and God knew, in his Sovereignty that it was not going to work to simply command the people, this way or that, but that God in flesh, Jesus, was going to have to come to preach and then repay with his death what we couldn't. The Old Testament proclaims Jesus as this Savior for the people, what a joyous event.
I appreciate the read and am blessed if it reaches one person. I am not a preacher just a man with priorities. It is the utmost priority for me to tell you the truth so you brothers and sisters do not continue to live the lie Satan fills you with, but more importantly, to prevent your soul from an eternity of damnation.

"so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvationto those who are waiting for him."- Hebrews 9:28Man deals enough with hardships in over thinking life and what to do or not to do depending on what they think is best. Let us make eternity a bit easier. Accept what I had just told you today, that the Bible's depiction is from God's inspired message to his people. A historical document that despite man's folly, we are saved by God's son, who died on the cross for our sins. Our sins harm us and keep us back from a relationship with God. Yes, God loves us and knows what hurts us and has us deal with this hurt to reprimand us, so we learn and grow over time. Relapse is part of the process because God knows man's wretchedness and that without his grace and mercy we would kill ourselves and burn for eternity in hell because of our own sick ways. There is no act, nor offering that could replace what has already been done.
