Back Around.
I gave myself 20 minutes to do this, so here it goes.
What can we learn about ourselves if we truly play the tape through in its entirety? I'm talking like we see ourselves make a choice and mentally observe the potential consequences. Wait, don't stop there, keep going. OK, so a consequence occurs, maybe a reward, and then what, you pay your dues move on, learn from it or no? Do you see yourself making the same choice twice, even after what you're noticing from this time? That would be crazy right, and I do mean crazy. Like if you could redo the lottery numbers for Saturday after you know your numbers weren't the winning combination, only to pick the exact same numbers? Like, do you just want to be right so bad you would risk being wrong?
Playing things through, like really through, might mean that we come right back to where we are now; left with a decision to make. Change isn't really what many people seem to think it is in my opinion. Instead, I encourage people to see less change and more acceptance. (Caveat here: I am of no one important FYI). I encourage positivity in self, encourage that the solution to your problem is inside of you the entire time. You know what you need to do, so an efficient life isn't about change, but about reminding yourself what has been there the entire time.
Now, due to time constraints, I will get right to it, but sometimes you are unable to do this yourself, see your strengths that is, so it is often helpful to have a mentor, a therapist, someone you trust to help you see these things and challenge in consistency. Spirituality and Jesus are awesome, truly foundational, however, God did make man with another man, and he does want love above all, and the other person is as much loved as you or I are, so maybe they have something to offer us. In all fairness if you don't want to talk to another person, then you probably should most of all.
So, we make a choice, see the reaction, and we learn from it. If we don't learn, then we do it again. Maybe the consequence gets worse as time goes on, or maybe we live in the same repeated cycle of turmoil. Maybe, we don't even realize how sick we truly are until we somehow get rid of the thing causing us pain? Look around to people who have lived through a circumstantial tragedy, no control, no decision, just an accident causing some significant life change. People grow from that stuff, grow away from self and into a different person. Some may harbor resentment, find no meaning in the occurrence, while others see the larger picture, see how insignificant we truly are, humble themselves before the awesomeness that is God.
Nonetheless, we all have choices to make, we make them, and then we should accept what comes next. Kind of a relentless and to the point one here, but I don't know, maybe helps someone who missed the obvious train. Like I did, have, and still do today.
God Bless.
