Through it all.
According to science, everything is 99.9999999% nothing. Article here. With that in mind, the scientific explanation that anything material is mostly electron clouds and magnetic force is what we feel, could we ever question miracles again? If science, which is typically the anti-religion take of the world's origin, existence, and meaning, is so convinced in the presentation, which is empty space, why would we struggle is accepting "non-natural" events from affecting our lives, when the "natural" isn't as concrete as we thought?
Jesus was a man, a Son, physically, birthed from a virgin. Science says this is impossible.
The Old Testament prophesied of Jesus coming, as a savior, the messiah. Science says he was just a man.
The New Testament says that Jesus did come, He was alive, He did talk and interact and die and rose again from the grave. Science claims this man did live, but that he must have been a crazy man claiming what he did.
Science will take anything spiritual and dispute it as impossible, for science only knows the realm of science. The same thing goes for a man who does not have an open heart, or fails to see anything other than the physical, which from the "science" article above we do not actually see or feel anything, just magnetic forced.
The truth does not lie in the truth versus being wrong, the truth lies in an origin of where truth came from. What is true? Truth in a realm of science is like a football in a football game. In a football game the football is very important. In a basketball game, it is not. In the entirety of the world, a day job, what you eat, how you sleep, your mental health, the physical football is not that important. This would be a concrete, scientific way of looking at a football. However, what in your life affects you in all areas more so than your spirituality, or what your world view is?
If you see the world as hostile, then you will see everything through that filter. That filter is a conscious perspective that was adapted, science would say for survival. When we perceive threats because we have lived through them, it serves a need to satisfy that perspective by bowing to it and perceiving threats all around, thus worrying versus growing in the world. When we see submission as an act of vulnerability, we fail to do it. Why submit? I don't trust the world.
However, the word is 99.9999999% nothing, so you are correct in not trusting the world, or the lies Satan tells while we are here.
Then your mind wants to question Satan, a force for evil, and how much closer we are to him as physical man than God. Somehow, man is more comfortable living in evil, sin, than we are by God's commandments, or that God even exists.
The logical part of your brain only knows what science gives us. Data, research, "facts" in the realm of science, all of this is only good with a perspective of the concrete. However, our thoughts, emotions, why we do things, are not concrete, so we dispute science by being us, every single day. Every day we live a life outside of what science can explain and in a lot of pain to be something in a world that science says is mostly nothing.
The material world will pass away, you will die, science agrees on this. However, after you die, those thoughts, that general, "you-ness" where do you think that goes? What will happen when your heart stops, the brain shuts down and your soul leaves the body? It is an eternal question science cannot answer. Human minds are very much stuck on the physical and it prevents us from growing like we should in our spiritual lives. God is waiting and Jesus is His Son. God offers His love, ripe for the picking. Do not depend on science or the hurt the world has caused to then turn back into the world, instead do what the God of all things commands and that is to take the gift of His Son's death on the cross and turn from the evil that is Satan.
Satan's lies tell us our own remedies are all that matter. Satan can only use the gifts God gave us, such as our intellect to appeal to us. Knowledge, given by God, filtered by Satan, and all of a sudden "science" means more than God. Deception for those who look for a concrete answer, too scared to believe in faith. Yet, we know that despite the temptations, our past failures lead us to the reality that sin hurts and pain gets our attention. However, science has a difficult times answering what pain is. We no longer have to live that way.

“For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities – his eternal power, and divine nature. So, they have no excuse for not knowing God.”- Romans 1:20
